On October 1 this year, South Korea issued G/TBT/N /KOR/234, No. 235 on electronic safety standards. In order to eliminate the adverse effects of technical trade measures as much as possible, November 20, WTO/TBT countries of the People's Republic of China The Advisory and Consultation Center, the Guangdong Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau, the WTO/TBT National Notification and Consultation Center, and the Dongguan Quality Supervision Standards and Coding Office hosted the G/TBT/N/KOR/234 and 235 Notification Councils. Dongguan Science and Technology Museum was held.
According to the experts at the meeting, the G/TBT/N/KOR/234 and 235 circulars on electronic safety standards issued by South Korea on October 1 this year are proposed to be electromagnetically compatible with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The revision of the relevant domestic standards in terms of changes in sexual requirements has attracted widespread attention in the country. In the relevant revision standards of South Korea, the LED lighting fixtures are listed separately to clarify their specific requirements. Some insiders have raised the question: once the standard is implemented, it may have a certain impact on the export of China's LED manufacturing enterprises such as Qinshang Optoelectronics, 100% Technology, and Diguang Electronics.
10 experts from within and outside the province and 10 leading LED companies from Guangdong Province participated in the council. "For example, the same LED is only the indoor standard, but there is no special limit for outdoor. This should be clear." Most of the participating companies pointed out that the revised standards in Korea are generally consistent with international standards. The impact is small, but it should be more specific in terms of the standard provisions of some products, so as not to create a fuzzy concept. In this regard, the expert review team fully considered the position of the Guangdong enterprises as the mainstream representatives of the LED industry, formed the opinions of China, and submitted them to the WTO Secretariat to try to eliminate the adverse effects of technical trade measures and strive for the maximum benefit of China's LED industry.
