No product meets the overall requirements of DLC for the product.

In addition, this test report also shows that nearly 90% of the products, the company did not mark the luminous flux and color rendering index in the product and the outer packaging box, and the product with the nominal parameters, the measured results are very different from the nominal parameters.

Why are so many LED lighting products appear to be confused with the logo of the outer packaging, or even the parameters are not true? The reporter interviewed relevant practitioners and industry experts to jointly interpret the industry chaos.

No standard

A person in charge of a LED company in Ningbo said that this is a "Chinese characteristic". "The LED products we export are clearly identified, such as power, lumen value, color temperature, color rendering index, power factor, light exit angle, power supply isolation, and service life. ,and many more".

Wu Yulin, president of Foshan Lighting Association, said that this "Chinese characteristic" is due to the lack of standards. "There are mandatory standards in foreign countries. There are CE standards for exporting to Germany and UL for exporting to the United States. If your products do not have these standards, it will be difficult to sell. Going, there is no uniform mandatory standard in the country, and only the mandatory national standard can rectify this market."

The fourth round of CLEAR's test report shows that the nominal light flux of Orkney's THD-301W spotlight is 300 lumens, the measured data is only 217.2 lumens, and the virtual gain flux is 27.6%.

Wu Yushu said that this is the key for enterprises to pursue short-term interests, or because there is no standard. "If you smash the red light, you will deduct points. But now there is no standard in this market. There is no standard and no one is punished. ”

The dishonest behavior of LED lighting companies reflects that China's LED lighting industry has no brand awareness in pursuit of short-term interests. “For foreign brands like Osram, their errors are within the standard range because they have brand awareness.” Yu Guofu said.
