What should I do if the LCD TV is wet?

The electronic components inside LCD TVs require high humidity. When the humidity is too high, the components will not work properly, and even internal condensation may cause leakage or short circuit. Keeping dry is the basic requirement for protecting LCD TVs. The following actions should be avoided as far as possible:

1. When cleaning the LCD screen, the humidity of the cleaning cloth or soft cloth is too large or the mouth of the liquid crystal screen is moistened with the mouth.

2. Turn on the power immediately after the LCD TV is not used for a long time. This is dangerous. Because the liquid crystal screen may have been wet at this time, if the power is applied to the damped liquid crystal panel, the liquid crystal electrode may easily cause corrosion and cause permanent damage. Therefore, carefully check the LCD screen before turning on the TV. If water vapor is found, wipe it off and then apply power. If the water vapor is serious, it should be put in a warm and ventilated place before the water vapor evaporates.

When the surrounding humidity is relatively high, the LCD screen can be powered by self-heating to drive off the moisture. Therefore, for a machine in this environment, it is best to use the LCD TV every day for half an hour, or at least once a week. If you do not use the LCD TV for a long time, it is best to seal it with a bag and add an appropriate amount of desiccant to the plastic bag.
