At the end of last year, the Anhui Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Leading Group signed a framework agreement with Anhui China Energy Conservation Investment Co., Ltd. According to the agreement, the latter will carry out urban green lighting renovations in 17 cities across the province. Anhui Province has become the first province in the country after the Copenhagen conference to carry out unified energy-saving actions in the province's urban green lighting. Yesterday, Anhui China Energy officially obtained a loan of RMB 2 billion from the bank. In the later period, it will use the contract energy management model to carry out the transformation of street lighting green lighting throughout the province.

According to an expert from the Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Promotion Committee of Anhui Province, preliminary estimates indicate that the green lighting renovation project can save 60% of electricity, save electricity bills of about 500 million yuan each year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 710,000 tons per year, reducing the standard coal consumption.
