In terms of battery life, Vision 6 can be recharged for 500km on a single charge and can run for another 100km with only 5 minutes of charge. It supports both wired and wireless charging methods. This ultra-high endurance and fast charging capability has greatly improved the practicality of electric vehicles and was evaluated by foreign media as "a true car."

As a concept car, Vision 6 is still far from our daily life. However, according to Mercedes, they confirmed at the beginning of this month that they are developing a consumer-grade electric vehicle and they are expected to reach 400-500km in duration, and will compete with Tesla at that time.

Currently, the range of 400-500km is equivalent to the two main models of Tesla, Model S and Model X. Among them, the Model S P90D can achieve 100 km acceleration in 2.8s, with a cruising range of 526 km. Model X mid-range 85 kWh version, 100 km acceleration time is less than 4 seconds, life can reach 474km. However, the new Model 3's life is only 346 kilometers, 100 kilometers acceleration time of 6 seconds.

In addition to Tesla, the 500km endurance level is still better than many other companies. For example, the battery life of the Nissan Leaf is only more than 160km, the battery life of the BMW i3 electric model is 185km, the battery life of the Volkswagen e-Golf is 133km, and the battery life of the Renault Zoe super mini electric vehicle is 240km.
