Tencent Cloud Enters European Market to Establish Data Center in Frankfurt

[Global Scientific Report] According to foreign media reports on July 20, Tencent Cloud recently announced its entry into the European market and its official opening of services at the Interxion data center in Frankfurt, providing high-performance cloud computing solutions for Chinese companies in Europe and European companies.

Since opening its first data center in Hong Kong in 2014, Tencent has continued to expand its global market. Following the entry into Silicon Valley this year, the new Frankfurt deployment will become Tencent’s first presence in Europe and will expand its global portfolio to 34 usable areas such as Australia, Europe, Canada and the United States.

Wang Huixing said: “We plan to establish 6 new regions and 15 usable regions around the world in 2017, making Tencent Cloud one of the fastest growing global cloud service providers in Asia.”
