On October 31, 2011, the Swedish Chemicals Agency (Kemi) recently analyzed high-level lead in electronic products and toys in the analysis of heavy metal and flame retardant substances in 76 kinds of consumer products.
Kemi examined the possible excess of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and the flame retardants PBB and PBDEs in toys. The results showed that the lead content in 22 kinds of toys exceeded the standards, and the main source of lead was solder and cable assemblies.
