The reset mode of OMRON plc high-speed counter can choose Z phase signal + soft reset and soft reset.
1. Z-phase signal + soft reset mode When the high-speed counter reset flag is ON, the current value of the high-speed counter is reset when the Z-phase signal and the reset input are turned from OFF to ON. Further, since the reset flag is ON, once in one cycle, it can be discriminated only in the common process. Therefore, when OFF→ON occurs in the ladder program, the Z-phase signal is turned on from the next cycle.
2. Soft reset mode The high-speed counter reset flag is reset from OFF to ON. Further, the determination of the reset flag OFF to ON is performed once in one cycle, and is performed in the common process, and the reset process is also performed at this time. However, when OFF to ON changes during the middle period of one cycle, the reset flag is tracked in the normal direction.
