Main difference between "microporous instrument" and "medium hole instrument"

Photocoupler

The main differences between "microporous instrument" and "mesatom instrument":
In the physical adsorption industry, the holes are divided into three categories:
Micropores: 0.35-2 nm; mesopores: 2-50 nm; macropores 50-200 nm;

The main functions of the physical adsorber are three: specific surface, pore volume, pore size distribution;
Instruments equipped with molecular pumps can be tested: specific surface, pore volume (0.35-400nm), pore size distribution (0.35-400nm);
Instruments that do not have a molecular pump can be tested: specific surface, pore volume (0.35-400 nm), pore size distribution (0.5-400 nm);

Misunderstandings to avoid:
Do not mistakenly believe that the mesoporous instrument cannot test the specific surface, pore volume, and pore size distribution of materials containing pores below 2 nm;
in other words:
Do not mistakenly believe that the results tested by the mesoporous instrument do not contain the specific surface, pore volume, and pore size distribution of pores below 2 nm;
Therefore: the difference between the micropore instrument and the mesoporous instrument is only the pore size distribution of the pore below 0.5 nm, and the pore volume of the pore below 0.5 nm and the pore volume of the pore above 0.5 nm can be tested without the mesoporous instrument of the molecular pump. from;
