Kunshan, Jiangsu LED lamps export value increased significantly

In recent years, the Kunshan lamps and lanterns export growth momentum is rapid, in which the export of new energy lamps has become a pillar of the lamp exports. According to statistics from Kunshan Inspection and Quarantine Bureau in Jiangsu, in 2011, a total of 3,324 batches of lamps and lanterns were exported in Kunshan, with a value of 82.343 million US dollars, an increase of 34.58% and 74.0% respectively compared with the previous year. The export products mainly include household LED lamps, traditional lighting fixtures, and industrial and mining fixtures.

According to the analysis, in the global economy is generally sluggish, the continuous increase in raw material prices and the continued appreciation of the RMB exchange rate, Kunshan new energy lamp industry can grow strongly in the adverse market, mainly due to the following aspects:

1. The new energy source has become an irreplaceable product in people's lives. Eliminating a generation of second-generation light source products and developing four-generation and five-generation light source products are the trend of the times.

2. The increasing strictness of foreign technical trade measures has led to the bottleneck in the export of traditional energy-consuming lighting products. The new energy lamps have been able to rapidly develop due to various energy efficiency standards in foreign countries.

3. The enterprises in the area took timely response measures and actively developed new products; the Kunshan Inspection and Quarantine Bureau took the initiative to provide policies, information, and technology to the lighting companies in the area to help enterprises establish and improve the internal quality management system, thereby improving the company's ability to innovate and ensure quality.
