Wireless operator Verizon is Google’s exclusive operating partner in the United States, while other US operators do not officially sell Pixel and Pixel XL without authorization from Google or its retail partners. Therefore, consumers in the United States who buy Pixel phones are either purchased through the Google Store or purchased through Verizon. According to foreign media, since the launch of the Google-tagged Daydream handsets Pixel and Pixel XL, the sales performance has been excellent, even once the demand exceeds supply, especially Pixel XL.
Verizon is now offering a free virtual reality headset for some Pixel customers to compensate for the delayed delivery. Some Reddit users who subscribed to the Pixel mobile phone also said that they had received Verizon's phone notification and gave them Daydream View.
In fact, it's not the first time to purchase Daydream View with Pixel mobile phones. The Google Twitter official Twitter in October last year stated that consumers who buy Pixel phones in the Google Store within a specified period of time (which is currently not within the deadline) will receive a discount code that can be redeemed for Daydream View free of charge.
Google, which is the source of the supply chain, said that it will actively work with partners to solve the problem of Pixel's inventory.
