Design and application of intelligent robots in home healthcare

1 Introduction : The digital home is the basic unit of the future smart community system. The so-called "digital home" is based on the home network to provide intelligent services covering the entire family, including data communications, home entertainment and information appliances control functions.

One of the main contents of digital home design is the realization of communication functions, including the communication between the home and the outside world and the communication between related facilities inside the home. From the current development point of view, the external communication is mainly through broadband access. Intenet, and the communication within the family, the author uses the current relatively competitive Bluetooth (Bluetootlh) wireless access technology.

Traditional digital homes use PCs for overall control and lack humanization. The author designs an intelligent robot equipped with a variety of external sensors based on the idea of ​​artificial emotion. This intelligent robot is regarded as a family member, through which it can control the digital family.

This article focuses on the model design of the application of intelligent robots in the digital home healthcare. Bluetooth technology is used in the communication between intelligent robots and medical instruments and control PCs. The cost of the entire system is lower, the functions are more comprehensive, the expansion application is very broad, and it has great market potential.

2 The overall design of the intelligent robot

2.1 Multi-sensor system of intelligent robot

The most important related field in robot intelligence technology is the integration and fusion of robot's multi-sensory system and multi-sensor information [1], collectively referred to as the hardware and software parts of the intelligent system. Visual, auditory, force, tactile and other external sensors and the internal sensor information of each joint of the robot are fused to enable the robot to complete important functions such as real-time image transmission, voice recognition, scene recognition, positioning, automatic obstacle avoidance, and target detection; The robot plus related medical modules (CCD, CAMERA, stereo microphone, image acquisition card, etc.) and special medical sensor components, plus the medical expert system can achieve medical care and remote medical monitoring functions. The block diagram of the multi-sensor system of the intelligent robot is shown in Figure 1.
