However, because many features of this browser need to be extended to complete, some aspects are not suitable for many people's operating habits, so some people want to change to other browsers to use. However, if you want to use other browsers, you must transfer the data, which includes the bookmarks in the bookmarks and the password information of the recorded website accounts. The transfer of bookmarks is very simple. In fact, the account password saved by Google Chrome can also be imported into other browsers.

Account passwords are synchronized directly

Percent Browser is a browser that has just appeared recently. It was developed based on the Google Chromium framework. So how do we import the Google Chrome password information into this browser?

Since the percentage browser can directly synchronize data in Google Chrome, it is very easy to import passwords into this browser. We first click on the custom button in the upper-right corner of the browser. Click the "Settings" command in the pop-up menu. Then we can see the "Login" option in the pop-up window (Figure 1). After clicking on the "Login centbrowser" button, enter your Google account and password in the popup dialog box. After logging in successfully, you can synchronize Google Chrome's bookmarks, passwords and other related information to the browser.

Import locally

Of course, not all browsers can directly synchronize Google Chrome data. Therefore, if users want to import related data in other browsers, they must use other methods to complete. For example, if the user is using the latest version of Opera browser, then using its own import function can also import the password data into the browser.

First click on the "Menu" button in the top left corner of the Opera browser. In the pop-up menu, select the "Import bookmarks and settings" command in "More tools". Then in the dialog box that pops up, first select the "Chrome" item in the browser list. Then check the "Save Password" option in "Select Content to Import" and click the "Import" button (Figure 2). Since Opera is also the Google Chromium framework used by this browser, their data compatibility is exactly the same.

Manually transfer account password

If the browser selected by the user cannot directly synchronize the Google Chrome data, and its own import function does not support the import of related password information, then we can only adopt a manual method to transfer the data. To perform this transfer operation, you first need to save the existing password data in Google Chrome, and then import the exported data into other browsers.

First enter “chrome://flags” in the address bar of Google Chrome and press Enter to enter the browser's background setting interface. Click the menu button in the upper right corner of the pop-up page and click the "Find" command in the pop-up menu. Then in the pop-up search box, enter the keyword "password import and export", find the "password import and export" option, select the "Enabled" option in the list on it. Then restart the browser according to the prompts, you can enable this password export related functions (Figure 3). Now click on the menu button in the upper right corner of Google Chrome and click on the "Settings" command in the popup menu. Then in the pop-up options window, click on the "show advanced settings" command at the bottom, find the "manage password" option in the "password and form", click on this option in the pop-up dialog box, you can see the browser is already Stored password information. Select the "Export" button below to export the password to a comma-separated Excel file (Figure 4). However, in order to protect the information security of the user, when the password is exported, the password of the current Windows user must be input first to complete the verification of the user's worth.

Now we use office software to open the just-exported form file, you can clearly see a row of account password information in the inside, and all the information content is displayed in plain text. The structure of this table is also very simple, where each row shows information about an account password. The entire table file is displayed in four columns. The first column shows the name information of the website, the second column shows the link information of the landing site, and the third and fourth columns show the login account and the corresponding password. information. After learning the relevant information of this account password form file, we can import this data into the required browser.

As we have already said, the contents of the exported table file are displayed in plain text. Therefore, it is recommended that you completely delete the form file from the hard disk after transferring the account password information, so as to avoid the risk of the privacy information such as account password and password being stolen.

For example, we open the "360 secure browser", click on the "register manager" button in the toolbar, in the pop-up dialog box, click the "Settings" button in the lower left corner. A "Login Manager Settings" dialog box pops up, select the "Site List" tab in the dialog box, and then click the "New" button below. In the dialog box that pops up, we can see the information that needs to be filled in such as "Website", "Website", "Account", and "Password". This information is exactly the same as the structure of the form file we just browsed. So what we have to do is copy and paste the information in each line into the corresponding input box, then click the "OK" button to complete the operation. Then click the "New" button to transfer the second account information until all the information transfer is completed.

For some browsers that do not even have the account information added manually, then we can only use the most traditional method to operate. That is, after opening the browser, enter the corresponding website login link in the address bar, and copy and paste the account password into the corresponding input box. After login, the browser will pop up a query prompt box, so that we can save the account password and other information to a new browser.
