System Overview Guangzhou Guangang Gas Co., Ltd. is one of the largest gas companies in the Pearl River Delta region. The production base is located in Wanshaqingsha Industrial Park, Nansha, Guangzhou, covering an area of 100,000 square meters. The target market for the company’s products is the Pearl River Delta and even Guangdong. As a professional gas company, Guangzhou Guangang Gas Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, medical oxygen, carbon dioxide, acetylene, and other industrial gases and specialty gases, and supplies related gas equipment, while providing liquid gas storage. Technical services related to the installation and maintenance of tanks and piping systems. These gas products are widely used in metallurgy, shipbuilding, chemical, petroleum, electronics, aviation, machinery, construction, nuclear power, lighting, glass, medical, biochemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
In order to effectively manage and monitor dozens of different types of liquid-gas storage tanks distributed throughout Guangdong Province, and timely master the storage conditions of various gas tanks and related operating states of gas tanks, the company needs to remotely monitor these gas tanks. In order to understand the reserves, pressure, temperature and other information in the gas tank in real time, the company can timely replenish the goods and prevent accidents such as leakage and explosion.
System Requirements Due to the wide geographical distribution of gas tanks, a wide area communication method must be used for data acquisition and monitoring. All gas tanks must be fully integrated into the company's monitoring system.
The collector needs to be able to accurately collect relevant parameters of the gas tank, such as gas type, reserves, level, pressure, temperature and so on.
The collector needs to have the function of long-distance communication, which can automatically transmit the remote tank-related data to the factory's monitoring center.
The collector should be able to meet the requirements of industrial applications.
System Structure The entire system consists of two parts. One is a data collector installed at each site, and the other is a monitoring platform software system installed inside the company.
Based on years of experience in data collection and a large number of industrial applications, we chose K22 GPRS RTU for gas tank monitoring systems. K22 integrated GPRS wireless communication module, using real-time online, automatic reporting mode. K22 integrates 8 channels of analog quantity acquisition channels, which can accurately monitor various parameters of the gas tank at the same time. If there are multiple gas tanks on site, it can monitor more than two gas tanks at the same time. The K22 integrates 8 channels of digital input channels, which can effectively monitor the start-stop status of the related equipment of the gas tank. K22 with 3 relay output interfaces can be used for live sound and light alarms. K22 is easy to install, stable and reliable, easy to maintain, and low in maintenance cost.
The monitoring center software system has multi-level passwords to provide different permission functions. The number of gas cylinders can be increased at any time. The relevant parameters and information of each gas tank can be edited. The current data of each gas tank can be displayed in real time. It is convenient to view historical data and provide curves and Reports, etc. The monitoring platform has over-limit alarms and abnormal alarm functions. The alarm information SMS informs the person in charge of the company and gas cylinder managers.
System configuration â— Built-in GPRS, adopts TCP communication mode, real-time online, data is automatically reported â— 8 channels of 12-bit precision analog input â— 8 channels of isolated digital input â— 3 channels of relay output â— Built-in memory, can be saved for at least 1 year Data â— 1 RS-485 for connecting smart instruments â— 1 RS-232 for system setting â— Built-in watchdog and timer â— Real-time clock with backup battery â— Full-grade industrial circuit, high stability, high Reliability design
