How to use: Boot step
1 open spectrometer power supply
2 Turn on the computer power
3 In the file manager, press the UV WinLab icon with the mouse. The spectrophotometer will now display the application window of UV WinLab. The instrument is ready. You can use the appropriate method for analysis and manipulation.
2 Method: In the analysis, some necessary parameters must be set for the spectrophotometer. The combination of these parameters forms a “methodâ€. The Lambda series of UV WinLab software presets four common methods.
1) Scan (SCAN) for spectral scanning.
2) Time-driven (TIME DRIVER), the spectrophotometer is used to observe changes in the ordinate value of a particular wave of a particular wave within a certain period of time, such as enzyme kinetics.
3) Wavelength programming (WP) is used to measure the change of the ordinate value of the sample in a certain time at a plurality of wavelengths, and can calculate the difference or ratio of the ordinate values.
4) Concentration (CONC) is used to establish a standard curve and determine the concentration.
2.1 To enter the desired method, select the file name of the desired method in the method window.
2.2 Method settings
2.2.1 Scanning, wavelength programming and time-driven methods can be selected or filled in as needed according to the displayed parameter table, and can be referenced by the spectrophotometer.
2.2.2 Concentration Concentration Method There are many labels at the bottom of the window, indicating that more parameters are needed for concentration determination. With the mouse, press each tab to flip the next page, which has some parameters to be measured. Must be set page by page.

3.1 SETUP
When all the required parameters have been set in the parameters, the spectrophotometer must use the mouse to press SETUP to adjust the instrument to the set state.
3.2 AUTOZERO
Press the button with the mouse to adjust the zero for the spectrophotometer (baseline correction in the spectral scan).
3.3 START
Press the button with the mouse and the spectrophotometer will start running the set method.
4 method operation
4.1 Scan, time drive, wavelength programming method, first put into the reference solution, press the AUTOZERO button, after the automatic zero calibration or background correction is finished, then put the sample, press START, the spectrophotometer will start, at the same time A graphics window appears on the screen to display the results.
4.2 Concentration
4.2.1 Formulating a standard curve
1 After the method is selected, confirm that the data is correct. In particular, the first line in the REFS page should select “edit mode†in the upper right corner. Put in the reference solution again, press the AUTOZERO button to automatically zero or background correction.
2 Press setup. After the icon disappears, press “start†again, and then press the prompts to put the tube solutions of the standard color column, and then follow the prompts to operate.
3 After measuring the standard color spectrum of the spectrophotometer, calibgraphwindow appears on the screen, showing the fitted standard line, and marking the position of each standard tube. There is also a dialog box of the Co ncentration mode at the bottom of the screen, which can be used to modify the proposed Combine the type of curve (by change calbration), or modify any of the standard solutions, or cancel a tube, or increase the number of standard solution tubes (add). If it is already satisfied, press the analyze sample button to enter the sample measurement window.
