Yesterday, the Wuhan Municipal Construction Committee issued a notice to all construction units, district construction bureaus and municipal engineering responsible units, requesting to strengthen the construction and management of street lamps for new and renovated municipal roads.
The notice stipulates that for the completed construction projects, where the street lighting facilities have not yet been supported, it is necessary to complete the construction of street lamps within this year; the construction and new projects will ensure the construction of street lamps; if the new roads are not completed, the street lamps will be completed. For the construction project, the competent department will not handle the completion registration procedures; in addition, the design approval procedures and management procedures for the construction of street lamps will be standardized, and the projects for the construction of street lamps without the arrangement of new construction and renovation will be refused. A new "no road with no lights" phenomenon occurred.
