Inverter air conditioners account for half of domestic sales

With the deepening of the national energy-saving and emission-reduction policy, with the improvement of people’s living standards and the improvement of the home environment, energy-saving air conditioners that improve air quality and optimize the indoor environment are increasingly respected. According to China Yikang's retail monitoring data, in 2014, the sales volume of inverter air conditioners in the Chinese market accounted for 50%; in 2015, it is expected to reach more than 65%. The rising trend of inverter air conditioners is very rapid.

However, the Beijing Business Daily reporter found in the investigation, ECO energy-saving technology, DC inverter compressor, DC fan motor, compressor 1W ultra-low power standby, 0.1Hz compressor low frequency operation, 0.1 °C precise temperature control, automatic drying antibacterial anti-mildew ... ... In the domestic air-conditioning market, there are few products with the above performance characteristics, and the price threshold is extremely high. China Yikang's retail monitoring data showed that from January to June 2014, the retail sales of total DC inverter air conditioners accounted for 6.5%, and the average retail unit price was 4344 yuan. In other words, the price of a full DC inverter air conditioner is equivalent to three years of electricity for an ordinary family.

Recently, Galanz air-conditioner released a new "Conversion Revolution" product at the 2015 cold-year opening conference. Among them, the "1 kW" series of full-conversion DC inverter products with an 8-hour power consumption of only 0.949 degrees is the most attractive. At the same time, under the impetus of China National Institute of Standardization, China Household Electrical Appliances Association and other authoritative institutions and industry associations, Galanz air-conditioner has published the “White Paper on Popularization of Galanz 1C Fully DC Inverter Air Conditioning in China Market”, specifying “1 kWh” full DC frequency conversion. Air-conditioning will be widely used in cities and towns throughout the country and in the new countryside market, with simultaneous online and offline supply.

China Yikang monitoring data shows that in 2013, the average retail unit price of full DC inverter air conditioners was 4,148 yuan; in 2014, the average retail unit price was 4344 yuan.

It is reported that in 2015, Galanz air-conditioning will continue its “increase in frequency” route, and upgrade its products and services around consumer demand and pain points. “1 kWh” full DC frequency conversion will be the same as the 2399 yuan “white artifact” that has already been popular throughout the country. “We cannot allow high prices to become barriers to the consumption of energy-saving air conditioners. Galanz air-conditioning, however, will not simply grab the market at a low price, but will release the company’s technological innovation and scale manufacturing capabilities to meet energy-saving consumption and guide energy-saving consumption.” Galanz Air Conditioning China Gan Jianguo, director of sales and marketing, told the Beijing Business Daily reporter.
