IFA2014: A large inventory of innovative wearable devices

As one of the important exhibitions in the industry, the annual IFA is the place where the latest technology products and technological achievements are concentrated. And this year, wearable technology has undoubtedly become a major trend at the show. So what products and technologies have we seen at this IFA? Foreign media have carried out an inventory of this:

1.Sony SmartWatch 3

Thanks to the waterproof body, replaceable strap and Android operating system, Sony's SmartWatch 3 has shown tremendous progress compared to last year's models. Its design and configuration are very close to existing Android Wear smart watches, especially considering that their interface is exactly the same.

2. Sony SmartBand Talk

While the ability to make a fitness wristband with a phone call sounds weird, SmartBand Talk still has some nice features. Its e-ink screen displays fitness activity data, and the waterproof design lets you take it off when you take a shower. Although its price is not cheap, if you want to have a fitness wristband that doesn't require tracking information on your smartphone, then this SmartBand Talk is a worthwhile choice.

3. ASUS ZenWatch

ZenWatch feels like a versatile smart watch that doesn't fall behind competitors in any way, but it doesn't have much to offer. However, the ASUS Android Wear smartwatch, which is scheduled to be released this fall, is at least a lot cheaper than the same type of product.

4.LG G Watch R

LG G Watch may not be as attractive, but its successor is completely different. The LG G Watch R not only uses an elegant round display, but also replaces the materials with metal and leather. The G Watch R has a screen resolution of 320x320 and is equipped with a 1.2GHz Opteron 400 processor and a 410mAh battery. Although the Moto 360 has taken the limelight before, the G Watch R also looks like a device that rivals it.

5. Samsung Gear S

This 3G-enabled smartwatch may be too far away for many people, unless Samsung can figure out how to bundle it with the user's mobile phone package. But then again, Gear S shows that Samsung still hasn't given up on designing and adjusting its TIzen system.

6. Samsung Gear VR

Samsung's virtual reality helmet Gear VR can be used as the home screen for the newly released Galaxy Note 4. It is a product jointly developed by Samsung and Oculus, and looks like the Oculus Rift, but this device is reminiscent of Google's Cardboard VR: you can get virtual by simply plugging your phone into the headset. The reality is gone.

7.Meta M1

Of course, smart watches that are not released in Berlin will still attract our attention. Meta M1 is not like a smart watch, its metal body also brings a high-end feeling. The device will be available soon and will cost $250.

8.Moto 360

Moto 360 is arguably the most watched Android Wear smart watch, but in addition to the round display and elegant design, our understanding of this device is very limited. But I believe we will soon see more information published.

9.iWatch?

In addition to IFA, Apple will also hold a new product launch next week. In addition to the much-anticipated big-screen iPhone, the rumored iWatch smart watch is likely to reveal its true face.
